Paul, were those aphids in your pics?

I googled "aphid" and some of them are similar. I bet there are loads of subfamilies though, so nothing looked exact.

I really don't know. It looks like an immature assassin bug to me. Check out how long his proboscis is in this pic! It goes along his underside all the way to his butt!

Yep, they do look similar to these:

But I don't have the entomology background to really know for sure! Some insects will really fool you (mimicry).

We pulled 30+ pounds of tomatoes last week. I think I'll go pull some now. It's been 3 days. That's long enough to get 10 pounds at least.

I got this. About 6 pounds. Guess I need to water.

This was a volunteer grape tomato plant. I have never planted these. Last year one showed up in the front yard between 2 bushes. This year one showed up in the shade of the big tomato plants. I guess birds are the cause.

And Yvette seasoned and ran a load through the dehydrator. They are BRIGHT and tangy! Yum! It takes ten pounds of tomatoes to get 1 pound of "tomato jerky".

^ Cool !! I picked some peppers today to dehydrate.

The last time I cleaned and cut hot peppers with my bare hands was the last time I'll clean and cut hot peppers with my bare hands. It burned for hours, esp under my nails !!
