  • Painted our house!

    Took 2 weeks to powerwash, 1 day to spray house (11 hours) and 2 weeks to do all the trim paint. Finally got done a week ago!

    -"Hairlipstiva" 1991 GL 5spd (swapped from an auto), rolling on Enkei 14x6 +38 with 195/45/14 Toyo's, Jensen MP5720 CD deck, tach install, LED strip in cluster, down position rear wiper, FMS springs, Gabriel shocks on 4 corners, Acura Integra short shifter
    -Escort GT 91 donor car with BP, G5M-R tranny to be dropped in the little guy...
    -Aspire brake swap COMPLETE!

    Nice! Looks good. And the gratuitous Festiva picture doesn't hurt either.

          I totally agree. I was like, "That's a pretty nice house. The brown brings out the trim and accentuates the brick but there's just one thing misTHERE it is! A Festiva. Yes, the house is gorgeous."

            has a walk out basement too with 8' opening, and 2 bays down there, which is currently where my 91 escort gt donor and 88 carby are being held...

              Looks good, hopefully the assessor wont notice. Im doing the same thing in between heat waves. I know you've had the heat too.

                  Just curious Eric whats a house like that cost in Tulsa ??
                  Was reading the other post on here about housing prices
                  in KCK. In the city i am in the average lot price is $300 thousand plus
                  and a average house is 500 to 650 thousand bucks.

                    Around here, a house and building like Eric's on 2-3 acres outside of town would run about $235K, give or take. The average 2-story house, built in the early 1900's but remodeled, on a double lot would run about $85-100K....depending on the condition. $150K can get you a pretty nice middle-class home in an older, established neighborhood. This ones about 8 or 10 blocks from me, and I've always kinda liked it.

                      Thats a great looking place, maybe/probably some hidden repairs but still a bargin. Im camping compared to that.
