This tire was one of the OE tires on a 2001 F150 that I had as a company truck. After approx 60K miles they still had a little tread left, but I had them replaced. I kept the old tires to use for a car trailer. They were in storage since last fall, when I installed them on my F250. I managed to get another 10K miles until this happened last week. I guess 10yrs and 70K miles is too much. The other 3 were still going strong and still had about 1/8 tread left, but I decided they probably weren't too far behind this one so I took them all off the truck. The last 5 miles home was a pretty bumpy ride!

Damn... That's pretty good... I'm glad it didn't cause an accident when it finally gave out!The normal is not always normal... MOST is not ALL... And any job can be hard if you don't have the right tools!!!

LOL, never actually gave out completely! Looks to me like it just had some belts seperate. I drove it home (slowly) and pulled it in the driveway. After sitting for 2 days it finally went flat. I have another matching tire and I think I could get another 10K out of the other 3, but I'm considering this as a "sign". I put the stock wheels & tires back on it for now until I can afford a new set of tires.Brian
