...Not exactly drug, but drove quite 'spirited'.
I was waiting to get a pic (attached) which would be requested on the 2nd post if I didn't have it in this original thread.
And the story:
So we went to some friends house 3 weeks ago and this car was sitting in front of a house and was evident that it had been sitting for at least 2 or more months, as there was about a foot of grass around it. The house had roof leaks, and flooded the house in the spring. (car not affected). So I finally got in touch with the owners and asked the status on the car... said that they misplaced the key and hadn't replaced it yet.
So I said i was interested. Waited a week for them to make a key for it, and then went to see it.
Specs:
1999 Coupe (removeable top) with 77K miles and Bahama Blue
LS1 with Automatic 4L60-E tranny and runs pretty ... uh.... GOOD!
Only aftermarket thing is Borla Exhaust
Minor issues:
Couple interior pieces broken
"Service Traction Control system" warning, as the wheel sizes are the same (needs to be staggered for TCS to work properly)
Tire Monitoring System Sensors are bad, need replaced
Right Front tire needs replaced soon (3 others are relatively new)
Front bumper has crack
So, the owner (lady) has a 1 year old, and another on the way... roof is being replaced as we speak, house is gutted (she is living in a hotel) and so she needed cash..... we worked out a very very reasonable deal and I picked 'er up!
I'll likely fix the small things and then sell it next summer...
Taking it to the drags here in a few weeks and we'll see what she'll run!
Took this picture with the Festiva in the background...
Now i need a sticker on the Festiva "My other car is a Corvette"
or on the corvette "My other car is a Festiva!" hahahaha
