Some of you may have seen this show on the History channel, so this past weekend we jumped in the Festy and headed to the river [Mississippi] our first stop was Le Claire Ia just north of I80 before you cross into Ill. We arrived there around 11:00 am and was this place packed, heck they make a ton of money selling popcorn and T shirts. In some of the pictures you will recognize some of the stuff they bought during the shows.

I am from that area. My buddies back home have drank with them at a bar. They said they are pretty close to what they are on the show. They told me the little fat guy was alot of fun, while the skinny guy was a nerd kinda guy.
    Just like the show haha

Those were my thoughts also, just a couple ordinary guys having fun, but man were they on the go non stop. Do you know the BIG Blond behind the counter, she was just as much of an atraction as the guys were.

I met them once at the Machine Shed in Davenport before they had their show. We were eating next to them and we wondered what the company name was all about and they just told us to watch the History channel in about 6 months. 6 months later they blew my mind lol. I haven't been to their shop yet but it's only about 35 mins away, might have to take a trip one weekend.

Just east of Cedar Rapids. Not too many festivas in my area so finding one may be tough.
Id love to get down and check out the American Pickers' shop. A friend of mine is "friends" with Danielle on facebook and I guess she is part of a burlesque show. Wouldnt mind seeing that either...
