  • Viper gathering

After we visited the American Pickers, we decided to head up river and made it two blocks when we ran into this hoard of Vipers. Well we could not pass on this so we pulled right in for a visit, as it turns out, these were some pretty nice people, heck if there was anything you wanted to know about this breed of car all you had to do was look interrested There were a couple of Hennesee cars in the lot, I was surprised when i turned around and found a half dozen guys looking over the Festy, I was surprised to hear them picking out the parts i had added from other cars, seats, tail lights, well you get the picture.

I could not resist a pic of this little red vette and yup it was driven by the grandma and grandpa, when he pulled out onto the street he jabed the gas and pulled a pretty good scratch in second gear.

I saved this pic for last, as i was walking by the Vipers this guy in the Baha boat had the engine cover off so i introduced myself and we started to talk, this guy had some serious money in the engines, yup plural as in Two, All Aluminum 632 cu in Big Block Chevys, as you will hear in this vid, these engines were ready to go and just before he hit the throttle, the camera battery went flat line. click on the picture and Enjoy.

nice, I took the family out for a mini vacay to old man's caves yesterday, we were overrun by a Porsche meet comming back from one of the caves, when we got back to the parking lot there was probably 30 or 40 cars out there, one of the license plates read "vlocity" LOL..

I took the vid with my camera, so squinting one eye, the other one closed, i could only tell someone had got in the boat. But hey it added to a good vid.

The one that stood out was the first car in line, That car is Candy Apple RED and really stood out, did you notice the side exhaust, it's sound was really sweet.

My fantasy is that when I get old and need a walker, I take a couple of minutes to get to my BP-T Festy sleeper and get in, then proceed to do donuts around the Viper guys before leaving the area at Warp Factor .5 .

I don't see what the big deal is with vipers, I mean, at the end of the day, it's still a dodge :p
