Probably to the arena due to it being a bit borderline. Assuming since this site tries to be as family friendly as possible a mod probably wanted the pic/discussion to be in a more appropriate section. Just my guess though!

Yup, there was a member who brought up concern about the pic being borderline and all the comments that followed, so the thread got moved to the arena to help keep things family friendly

are you serious? that is just absurd...there was nothing even remotely borderline about that pic...she is fully clothed and modeling on a car...which was her job for the day... you are all such prudes... seriously...

I agree with fastivaB6TG25MR, but it is not my forum. Delete the comments, not the picture. It doesn't make it feel like you can share experiences if you delete/move the picture. Which is why forums exist.....
I got officially warned for telling a guy he wanted to much money for a rusted out festy. IMO I would want someone to tell me that, so I don't sit on it and look stupid....
I feel the PCness of the forum really takes away from what it could be, but again not my call

the picture was not deleted...just moved to a more appropriate forum for the comments that were being made....as far as the warning....if you want to tell someone their price is too high just pm them. Do not put it out there for others to see and then maybe ruin the sale for a person that others were about to pull the trigger on.

I think that if there were unfamily friendly comments made about the pic, that those folk who made the comments should have been chastied, as per the rules that state no vulgarity, language, etc... except in the arena.
Really, any car show and other events you go to will have girls doing what the girl was doing in the photo. I'm sure the peeps that complained never go to such events as cars shows, football games with cheer leaders, and such.
It was the comments, not the photo, right? Moving it to the arena was probably the right thing to do, but it bothers me as I was once chastised for using a very mild comment, and since then I have seen comments made on this forum that were far worse than mine go "unpunished". How about some fairness applied here. Just my 2 cents.

Fortunately this is our biggest problem on the forum! Which I find to be pretty awesome. We have people from all different walks so different things bother different people. Fortunately we have the arena where just about anything goes.

I personally love the fact that we do not allow cussing/vulgarity in the main forums. Others may disagree. The fact is... if this is our biggest issue then we are a lucky bunch! I'm sure others have been to different forums and there aren't any quite like this one. Even arch rivals Neanderpaul and Pu241 will still help each other out when in need! (of course they aren't really arch rivals but you all know what I am talking about haha :p)

we can not catch every thing and it helps when people report the threads that they think have violations in them. You are free to hit that button when in one such a thread. We will then be notified and take the appropriate action
