Okay, maybe it was just me being a noob at that time, and I just dont remember seeing it. Its been a few years, and my memory is about 5 minutes long! LOL

It used to be that way, it got changed not too long ago for the exact reason you mentioned, now newbie's can see the arena but still need to be granted permission

I can see the arena and tried getting in one time and it didnt let me..

Yes, thats what I thought! Come think of it, I remember PMing a mod/admin about that. I had looked for the arena and didnt see it, asked about it and was granted entry, then suddenly there it was....... "The Arena" :p
