  • My new / old car (not a festiva)

    Hi All,

I haven't been posting at all since I had to part with my Festiva a while back, I have been missing the car though, every time I see one on the road I stare and wonder when / if I will buy my next.

I know there's not always love for Honda on the forums here but I have wanted one of these for almost 10 years now, but they just don't come up for sale. Well finally, one did. Despite its many many flaws I decided to buy it anyway.

    1977 Honda Civic
    4 Speed Manual Transmission
    1.2L Carbed
    Weight 770kgs / 1600 Pounds

Here she is the day I picked here up:

And today getting a good cleaning.

That's an awesome car. My wife wants an AN600, similar to that car.

Not a Honda fan, BUT...I love the early Civics. My best friend had one just like yours, except red, back in High School. That's an awsome car you got there! Fix it up nice and enjoy it. Congrats!

                    1500 CVCC swap!

                    Ha!

I had a 1981 Civic DX with that engine. Twelve valve and 71 hp.

Awesome yours is still driving! Fix her up nice and bring her to a meet.

What, an '81? That would be sweet.

Two Hondas I'd love to have and mod if I could ever get them minty:

                        -another '81 DX
-an '81 Accord; last year for the first body style (I'm guessing under 2100 pounds)

Why 1981? Last year for the round headlights and supposedly (and what I've observed) less rust than the 1980 models, at least for the Civic.

Classic Honda, when they made them simple!

Nice car Rakfint! I'd love to have an early 80s four door wagon, but the only one around here isn't for sale lol. The guy keeps it NICE and stock though, love seeing it

Done a few more things with the car, mostly just tidying up what's there.

                              Cleaned up the trunk area.

                              Before

                              Painting the arch covers

                              New floor & carpet

Design & printed this Cargo Cover

Cleaned up the rust & overspray from the front turn signals

Cleaned up the Yellow overspray from the interior
