i say keep both, but you can't do that now....

... better yet, SELL the Bimmer (for more) and use the $ to build a new festy to rival or surpass Whitey!!!!

yeah, that's a much better idea.

If you liked BMWs so much, I would have suggested turning a Festiva into a "BMW 1002."

Or would that be a "BMW 121i ?"

              Or maybe a "BMW 1800tii?"

Seriously, with the right front end and tail parts, a few BMW emblems, some BBS wheels with same, and a nice paint job and custom interior you could have 80 or 90% of the population convinced it was a Baby Bimmer.

(Actually, that's something I'd love to do some day, seeing as how I never had a 2002, though I took one--a '76?--on a test drive once and loved it.)

'93GL "Prettystiva" ticking B3 and 5 speed, backup DD; full swaps in spring!
              '91L "AquaMutt" my '91L; B6 swap/5 speed & Aspire brakes, DD/work car
'92L "Twinstiva" 5sp, salvage titled, waiting for repairs...
              '93GL "Luxstiva," '94 B6 engine & ATX; needs overhauled
'89L "Muttstiva," now a storage bin, future trailer project

Tweak had a BMW roundel emblem on the hatch when I first got her! I also love beemers ( currently have a 76 oh!two and an e36 M3) but took the emblem off of her because Im proud of my little Ford. That's a beautiful 540!
