We had cabin fever today so we drove to Ottumwa for dinner, well we are sitting in this little dive and this little wisp of a fella walkes in and says in a deep voice, who owns that Blue Festiva out side, at that point i get this feeling in my gut that somethings not right, so i look him straight in the eye and I DO, he comes right over and gives the wife and i a big ol bear hug and says i drive a Red one, all right now it's a full on Festiva B.S. session. What a day, Good food and a mini meet.

No! That's awesome! If they won't move, build it over them. Benefit of that: Free covered parking for the restaurant!
EDIT: And at least half of their roof won't need replacing from weather. In love with a MadScientist!:thumbright:
There's a fine line between breathtaking ingenuity and "That's the stupidest thing I've ever seen!"

The Cantine in the alley.
Ya it's just a cool dive, they serve 3 thats three sandwiches, the one they are famous for is called the cantine, it's a Maidrite style crumble burger and yup it's the size of a standard cantine, when you walk in the door one of the ladies will holler, what will ya have, what will ya have, and i say, 2, cheese, everything, moist, chocklate pie, water, there are 5 maybe 6 ladies behind the counter, mostly over 70, by the time you sit down at least 1 sandwich and your drink are ready, it's a blast to watch these ladies work together.
OK about the cafe and the parking ramp, the city council was going to pull the imminent domain scam on the diner, the towns people rallied around the diner and sinse it was close to election time guess who got voted out, all of them gone, now thats real democracy, so the city and the towns people worked together and came up with a compromise and now you know the rest of the story. An idea can turn to dust or magic, depending on the talent that rubs against it.
