Yes..I put more than that over the rear wheels and drive as far as I want.

Those coil overs only needed to be moved 1/2 inch , that moved the car up
about an inch and a half...I was using .96 as a multiplier but a new figure
is needed, that one is not correct. I can set the front where I want, I want it
high enough so that aux lights are not needed but low enough I don't trip
the breakaways all the time. Rear seat is removed, look in the back window...

God your car is the perfect do it all festy!!! I've been thinking of running a 90 amp or higher alt., power inverter and small oil compressor to do the small service work I do for AAA. Would be really bad a to have power tools to work on your car if it broke down too!!!! Was maybe even thinking about a dual battery setup, what ya think?

I have a 2500 watt ac power supply, its fine to run the espresso machine for
camping. For longer camps I throw in 2 golf cart batteries and my little 1K
generator. I would like to find a compact but high performance air compressor.
The new snap-on rechargable guns are pretty hot though, except tires in
the dunes almost don't need air anymore. I just use this little AGM miata
battery, tiny, locates below original location for a ton of room under the hood.

Moving: Gidday from 'up the line' (the Ottawa Valley! You're actually raising Festys off the ground and doing purposeful, useful and practical things with them. All the while most other Festy nuts are intent on trying to make a silk purse from a sow's ear (engine and suspension swappers excepted).
Attaboy! But a plow may be going a little too far. The underpinnings are not remotely engineered for that kind of stuff. The boneyards up here are full of bent and bagged full- frame 4x4 half tons that couldn't even handle snow blades.

You should rig your winch to raise and lower it

Thanks ! Wish we had your snow, our Sno-Cat isn't getting much use !

I'm hearing you guys loud and clear, I keep an IH scout and a blazer
full size going for there services...Once this season
This wouldn't be intended to replace those machines even though it takes
a lot of work and welding to keep them going. This would be to dress up
what was done and to keep the house open. The giant berms the city snow
plow leaves would be the hardest part. It would open up tighter areas the
bigger plows cannot do. This plow is 62 inches..perfect for that niche.

Being my daily driver and the fact that it saves me several hundred $$$
every month I don't want to hurt the car...so careful planning here !!

I think you are right. I don't want to wear out my new cable. Do you think
fairly new seat belt material loaded into the drum would hold up better ?

It should be easier on the fair-lead too.

I may have to mount some turn signals on the blade to be legal.

Maybe I should weigh it, I put it inside tonight and it is fairly
heavy to carry. I think with the adjustable struts it will work in that
respect. I don't think bypassing the bumper is a safety concern as it
would fold then work with the bumper in a frontal. I don't want forces
going to the uni-body that would loosen the spot welds, I am hoping
the break away will be sufficient for that. If that fails the mount pins
are soft material in a clevis.

                          Kumho Baha Off Road Tires.

Movin, you would have no traction problems in the snow with these tires.

                              Wild snow tires

I bought these last winter around January, we had alot of snow last spring and it was cool to see the looks on peoples faces when they saw this little Blue Festiva drive right on by, heck one guy was so impressed he saluted us.
