                okay...so maybe the stock brakes do suck...ouch

                        Every part of the car absorbed the impact, I hope that saved the driver.

                        They don't use airbags in festies because it would turn them into a giant
                        beach ball and they would bounce into the next zip code!!

                            If I'd known you practice field artillary in Oklahoma, I wouldn't have made the off hand comment about "structural integrity" of truckbed Festivas. Your truckstiva is really cool. I just looked at the write up.:thumbright:

                            I'd integrate the roll bar to the rear strut towers and the half-cab roof, but hey...it ain't my train to rob

                              ok, so what hit it? (i immagine a large truck at speed).
                              Trees aren't kind to me...

                              currently: 2 88Ls (Scrappy and Jersey), 88LX, 90L(Pepe), 91L, 91GL (Skippy) 93 GL Sport (the Mighty Favakk), 94 (Bruce) & 95 Aspire SEs, 97 Aspire (The Joker),
                              94 Justy 4WD, 87 Fiero GT, plus 2 parts cars. That's my fleet.
