Hmm I might have to get that cluster from you then. I would LOVE to have that full tan interior! Where are you located at? I doubt anywhere close to me...

I put a 17" excel on it that I have laying around, they are dual pattern 4x100 and 4x108, not to decide what color I want to paint them, and if I want them on this car or my escort.

Rims look great, I work at a Ford dealer now, and although we never see those cars anymore, no one seems to have much good to say about 'em.

          Good luck buddy!

            Thanks!!

I know what you mean, you have to be willing to put up with how difficult they can be to work on.

The early cars used to shake the steering wheel VIOLENTLY when at a stop in drive. We changed engine and trans mounts, remounted the subframe and exhaust, and put a 5lb weight in the steering wheel behind the airbag. Nothing got rid of that shake! The SVTs were better, because they had a separate quality control team. Plus, they had gotten most of the bugs worked out by '98. I still didn't like working on them...
OMG! I had this old lady who owned one of these drive me CRAZY over that shake! Her car was only like a year old, and she had given up on Ford techs fixing it. Someone gave her my number, and I checked it out, worked on it, worked on it, and worked on it! I HATED that car!

I sold the escort this weekend actually. I'm back to driving my white festiva. I was going to go 3L but with these pre-98 cars it doesn't tune correctly..

Maybe to you :p This is actually pretty easy and straight forward so far, so it is basically just taking the time to do it. Plus with all this stuff I'm putting into it, I really shouldn't have any issues for a long time.
