  • New Festiva in town, new member!

Well, we have a new member here, she is being really quiet so I
am going to spill the beans a bit and hopefully she will see this
and tell a little more about the pics!!

Here the new car is arriving on a really long truck!!

It runs really good so we opened her up to see what we have.

No rust and pretty straight, even the original paint still looks good!

Here is the rear shot, it didn't take long to bolt on some WY parts, the
bumper, both lights and the license light housing were all got from a
local yard, no rust on any screws or bolts.

I am not sure, but there may be a spot of rust here, ? Not to familier
    with the stuff..

Side shot, one of two minor dings.

Here is the interior, it pretty much is like new, Jeez, I am pretty
jealous now I don't know about the rest of you ...this is awesome!!

Here is the under hood shot, like new!!??? Wow, it really was well cared
for. This of course shows it is a 89 auto LX. Speaking of that we may be looking for the ford oval and the festiva LX..they melted off.

Maybe you guys can straighten this girl out, I don't know if she realizes
how lucky she is!!! Look at this engine!!!!

'89' and 'auto' are 2 foul balls against this pretty little car, but it's a home-run in every other respect. And sounds like she has a competent coach! Keep her out of the bedliner/gravel-guard paint though would you, please.

          Movin; thanks for the post.

That's not rust, that's just brown spots. I can get some pictures of rust if you want to see rust lol.. all the same, grind or sand it off and put some touch up paint on it before it becomes a problem!

              Very nice car BTW.

no way no how.....I would take an 89 any day and being an auto does not scare me either. Running right they are awesome and depending on what kind of driving you do....an auto is awesome. You can ask anyone that was at Madness and last years Ohiostiva....my auto runs JUST FINE!

Awe come Bert, you know I can be really persuasive!! Rubber paint would
would look really good on there.!!! This girl has her own ideas and will follow
through with some of her ideas. Speaking of, her ideas are leading into another
days work collecting parts and getting it done her way!

                              Welcome Crazy KJ...that '89 is a beauty.

The master cylinder reservoir and the grill appear 'custom' to me. Could this be a Canadian car?
