These are some shots of the Freedom Rock as painted by Ray Bubba Sorenson from Greenfield Iowa, each year Bubba chooses a different theme, i believe this is his Tenth year of painting the Rock, this year as in the past years, parents of fallen soldiers have sent ashes of their sons or daughters to Bubba to be mixed with paint and applied to the Rock. In the second pic's down you will see the Five Sullivan Brothers from Iowa, they all served on the same ship and all died, iirc this tragedy is why the military created the policy that no family members serve together.

Your welcome, it's only 100 miles away, so we take some time off and go see it with friends, relatives. We took Mom and Dad this year, they really enjoyed the trip, Dad was in the Air Force, 20 years retired.An idea can turn to dust or magic, depending on the talent that rubs against it.

It's the least i could do for our Vets, your all welcome.
