  • Went to a local import car show today

Every year there is a few Import car shows at the local drag strip, this one is called CSCS, Canadian Sport Compact Series.... they have drifting, circuit racing, drag racing, and a Show & Shine.... so i figured since my festiva looks complete, i towed it to the show to represent festiva's :headbang:

Here's the link to the website on the event

SEASON OPENERSUN. MAY 25 – MOSPORT DDTSEE YOU THERE ! TIME ATTACK – DRIFT –...

Even though it was a crappy day and there was a bit of rain on and off through out the day, it was still a great day....... i had a lot of interest in my festiva, most people were amazed at the sleeper status of it and just how tight of a fit it was, and i had the odd idiot try to tell me about my "fiesta" and that there's a kit you can buy to swap in a Northstar V8 he didn't like it when i told him that my car is not a cavelier lol

Anyway onto pics even though i didn't take tooo many

    1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
    1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

            I'd prefer a 4 rotor more though :p

But I gotta say, when I got to the show, I actually drove my festiva to where I parked it which was the first time I drove it with the turbo and hearing it spool up....... drool drool I got wood, I just want to run it down the track sooo bad lol

I was going to ask you about the kinds of reactions that the unsuspecting passers-by got when they realized there's a weapon of mass destruction under the hood of your uh... "Wood-producing" Festiva.

 it sure grabbed people's attention, I had a LOT of people come up to me and want to know more about it.... Even as I was leaving, a guy flagged me down to have a quick look before I left, he seen the "KLZE" across the windshield and had to see it lol
