  • Westiva 2012

Westiva 2012 is done and everyone is one their way home.

    Here's the who's who...

    Scott... leapin with his Festiva
Gary... with his Festiva LX purchased new.
    Ken... rustedskunk with his Festiva
    Hagen...gearheadeh with his Subaru Vivio
I was there of course along with my crew and my Festiva

Tommy... tommychu made it our without Festiva or Aspire. We remembered that he was unintentionally at the first Westiva albeit not in a Festiva.

Jim and Liesa... monkeyracing and his lovely wife. As some of you may recall Jim went through some pretty serious medical issues a couple of years ago with permanent consequences. Jim was at the first Westiva meet and it was great to see him again.

From right to left... Ken's, Scott's, mine, and Gary's.

Our guest... Subaru Vivio a Japanese Kei class car

    All that and only 660cc!

Scott won the long distance award having driven from Whiterock BC. The rest of us are from the Calgary area.

There will be a Westiva 2013! We'll probably keep it around the same time but looking at a couple of different ideas. What would you think of a bunch of Festivas (or should that be a flock?) in a community Stamped Parade?

Made it back! Car ran like a champ averaging about 43-44 mpgs. Thought that was pretty good considering the amount of camping gear I had and the wider tires I'm running. I ended up collecting about 1600 mi.

One on the way to the meet

    At the meet

    Cool decal on Ken's hatch
