ehh...I guess i'm too used to nubblets on the protege, mx3 and other boards I'm on asking idiotic questions about swapping rx7 engines into their 323's, shoving a ford V8 into their escort (it must bolt in right?) and shit like that. Of course no one ever follows through.

But when it comes to festivas...it seems the possibilities are endless. the cars seem to attract people who actually know wtf they are doing and who have the know-how to get r' done.

Sunny GTiR axles I'm using the whole drive train.

I have been modding car for the last 13 years, I have lots of fab experience and equipment. It would take a serious person to do a copy of this project. Its not cheap and takes hella time to do.

It will be the fasted festiva ever and the most unique. The fast is more the plan but why not be different too.

You have to assemble the whole car then remove it. Then assemble again its just like when they build a bike on OCC.

Project completion date shooting for may 20-30th.

            Thanks for the comments.

^Same time as custom lights and tails. The exhaust has to be done before the rear skirt. Side skirts depends on final offset of the wheels.

                Thanks

Correct me if I am wrong EVO, but are you saying if anyone comes along and swaps in the engine you have in a Festiva, they are copying you ?

It will be the fastest festiva ever....
Over the length of this forum's existence, there will be enough of people who just won't let that happen. Nice to have confidence in your project though.

The pictures of your car's build just doesn't support that theory you'll be fastest at everything. If you raced auto-x with this car you are building vs something along the lines of Gary Fulkerson's Modified ( a Festiva, and a B3 at that ), your ass would be handed to you ( barring driver incompetence ).

That leaves what? Drag racing? Road Racing?..............Street "Racing" ?

Odd to me, that for someone with 13 years of car modification experience, you would think to avoid making such a pompous statement.

So it's a Nissan engine. Two liter?

Fastest? There are many types of "fast."

Good job. I can't wait to see the end result.

Well unless you know of a SR20 AWD Festiva you not telling us about?

See you don't know that either! Do you? The world could end the day I finish and prove it, at that moment then for ever it would be. Your not any more a fortune teller then me so the truth will be told with time. So I'm not the only pompous statement maker here. Plus its my thread, all say what I want make your own thread if you want to talk about ifs and what ifs in Rich Norman's world.

I never said where and when its the fastest or under what circumstances. Ask before you assume! I could mean fastest Festiva down my drive way at home.

2.0 for now maybe 2.2 if Rich Norman thinks there is a faster one!

wow man. i commend you if u get it all going. but what are u setting this car up for exactly? i was just curious. i also noticed the bluebird/altima grill that u are using also. And where are u going to put your IC? Will u have enough clearance under the hood or will you have to go with a smaller one and mount it up front?

At the start there are pics of the front mount. Set up no idea, like I said its fully adjustable suspension and will know where it stands after couple sessions at the track.

                                Thanks
