The brakes 11.6 2 piece with (forged)4 pot calipers(biggest I can fit in 15 inch wheels) and they still rub little. The thing is with front and rear disc on this car I can't even press the brake pedal more than a 1/4 inch and the thing stops fast. I have yet to lock them but shouldn't be a problem. Testing won't begin till next spring when i can get some track time.

Interesting part the front brakes are less weight than the aspire upgraded brakes.

    Thanks

    • NICE! But you should have left it looking like a stock Festiva on the outside. You should have gone along with the same theme as me.

      • did you run into any problems on fitting those massive brakes or was it just a matter of making the caliper bracket? if it's not too much of a pain i would consider it... wilwood rules! and those would look mean behind a set of rotas grid's

Was not possible and I wanted the car to looks mean not stock. Its so loud, I could never get away with stock haha. You know you can tell a difference between a 2.0L turbo and 1.3L exhaust tone(add the BOV and its a dead give away)! Plus you can see the rear end through the rear windows and from the rear. Its really needs a body kit to hide those things anyways.

            Thanks

Well its not even the Aspire or Festiva spindle . its the GTiR spindle AKA Sentra(kinda). It looks silly, anyway you cut it all you see is brake.
They are custom brackets but not for the Aspire spindle you could have some made pretty easy. Just by the components from wilwood.

              Thanks

I have custom covers that really add to the look, they cover the whole light assembly.

                Thanks

                • alright, as promised long ago, i retract any previous statements about this project being BS... AWESOME EVO!! I said if you provided proof i'd give you the credit you deserve and that's what I'm doing now. BADASS is all i can say. Obviously there's still things to be finished up but it looks like its going to be great. I'm really impressed that you managed to fit everything within the stock wheelbase. What was needed in the way of custom driveshafts? I can't believe that all of them fit without some kind of shortening/ spline swapping.

Well fronts were shortened and strange the rears fit amazing. It has crazy man camber but that's okay. I can change it but its looks good like that.
The fenders I think will get a roll or flare a bit. We have a tool for this from the drift cars we do. Its was surprising that this transplant is very close to the same as the factory Festiva chassis. Any one have suggestions on paint colors.

EVO, I decide FOTM not DJ, and sorry you can't be FOTM anytime soon. No one wants to run against you.

I do, what about a nice metal shining red?

                          Something like this
Is that a Festiva that just passed me?!?!?!

                          • since it is an evo driveterrian you should use an evo color like the silver or blue

                            they all look pretty good

or if you want to get really showy you could even use use the yellow
-rev till the valves float grab second and haul ass-

                            • Thats not an EVO drivetrain. That is a Nissan Pulsar GTIR drivetrain. I say black or go with a two tone color. But thats just me.

Has caught the most Festivas on Fire on this board!!
