Cars on the ground and front seats are in so I DROVE it out of the garage. Here are the 1st pics outside. I'll post some interior pics later. I installed the new carpet and the front seats today. Rear seats and panels later today.

Almost done. Got the front sheet metal on tonight as well as the dash. Still have some interior stuff to do and now need to find out why my blower doesn't work. As soon as the snow is gone and the front and rear glass are in I'll get it out for its maiden voyage. Can't wait till the cruise in's next month.

Thanks. The interior is stock 88 lx I found in the junkyard a few weeks ago in very nice condition. I'll be on the lookout for sportier seats that match the interior.

Today's photo update. Finished the rear interior and went to the yard and got some smooth tail lights.





Next up inner fenders, bleed the brakes, and install park brake.

Matt, I can't wait to find out how it drives with those tires. Are you just going to put up a "correction sheet" of speeds (or memorize the differences), or are you looking to use some sort of corrective speedo gearing?

I can't remember, but I think you have the larger transmission, so you probably don't need to correct anything, actually. Am I right?

Still have the stock festiva tranny so I'll just memorize my speedo difference. I am having second thoughts about those tires. They are too close to everything. I may end up sizing them down a little.
