you can bake the valve cover in your oven to get different effects with the wrinkle. i baked mine at 250 degrees.

Is it powder coated? If so, what did you do for the Ford emblem and DOCH 16 valves?

Krylon krinkle coat. Sand down the ford and the DOHC emblem 1st using some rough sandpaper and a block. It is not flat at all to start with. Then paint and when dry resand the letters.

So there's no paint on the letters? that's easier then I thought :wink:

and if the letters get dull then just hit the with some paper again to freshen it up.
