So you're chopping up a rust-free GTX to put the engine into a rotted Festiva?* Retired Festiva-er*

I'm with Fred on this one. A little explanation would be nice since the GTX looks like a better vehicle. The Festiva Store

it was crushed in the driver side rear corner of the car. it was all kinds of messed up. that was an initial option was to just keep the gtx and scrap the fester, but that body just didnt look like any fun to fix.
thanks for all the support...on your death bed, you will retain complete consciousness.....So i got that goin for me...which is nice...

Was it on ebay? Was it the one with the rear driveshaft taken out?
By the way, I love the eyebrows on the festiva. The Festiva Store

It would have been a better idea to put your body work efforts into the 323 rather then the Festiva. You could sell the GTX after it had been repaired and at least doubled your money, then put that money into getting a mint Festiva, a B6T engine, and all sorts of parts you need for the swap.
Anyway, good luck on the project!* Retired Festiva-er*

theres no way ill have it ready for FF06...i might thave the motor in and stuff, but between the full time job, the other projects im tryin to work for other people so i can make some extra scratch, and the fact that it needs new front rotors, wheel bearings, suspension and strut mounts all the way around, a windshield now and the body work, im not gonna be ready this year, im gonna do my damndest to be there in full effect next year.
Im not turnin this into a pity party, but theres just no way Ill have it ready this year. But thanks for all the feed-back everybody. I really appreciate it. A handful of my friends and my dad support it, but the import scene in toledo is pretty bull-headed, so my main goal in life right now is to dust most of the toledo scene with my "shit-box." Call me vengeful, but it gets me outta bed in the morning. Talk to you cats later!
