Is that stock internals or have you upgraded stuff?

It looks like you're using a B6 distributor, any reason to use that over the festiva one?

I'm completely upgrading the engine wiring to a 90 323 because all of the old stuff is junk in my opinion. As well I'm planning on eventually moving to a Haltech management.

Everything at this point is more or less stock inside the engine. I'm will run it for the remainder of the summer as is and I might rebuild it over the Winter.

haltech???? hmmm why? its a stock built b6 why would you even waist money on a stand alone? its barely making 80 horsepower

the most youd get out of it is maybe like 10-15 horsepower.. thats like 1000 dollars a horsepower

my suggestion... for the price of a stand alone for a 10 hp gain you could get a bone stock b6t swap.. after that you can start to worry about fuel delivery (one of the many things a stand alone can do) on something that actually makes power :?

my end goal is 120hp in an N/A Festiva, even if I go DOHC. Yes i could have gone for a different setup to start, however this is what came with the car/kit so i'm putting it together and going from there.

Sometimes its about doing something because no one else has and the style of doing it.

I'll be very interested in your progress on this engine as my goals are almost identical. I'm planning on a sohc b6 with standalone, cam, headers, and a lighter flywheel. I expect that would push it over 120.

With the head work, cam, hd springs, intake, header, exhaust, no cat etc.. my butt dyno says Techno's B6 is probably putting out about 100hp. But this fall it will go into a different daily driver Festy to make room for the BPT/G25M-R swap.

That is such a purty engine! I hope to do up a future B6 somewhat like that.
