I let the chickens run around in the garden all fall/winter pooping and being chickens. Making that soil rich!
Saturday all four of us planted for 4 hours and 45 minutes!

This hillside was covered in stinking paradise trees. Last year I moved the fence to the top of the hill and cleared the weeds. Now it's covered in potatoes and green beans.

This fence is new for this year. Mostly to keep the chickens out. In this plot we planted broccoli, strawberries, cabbage, and lettuce.

In the 13' x 15' fenced plot we planted cucumbers next to a trellis to climb. They will provide partial shade to the Swiss chard and spinach. Yellow pear tomatoes, beefsteak, better boy, Goliath tomatoes, and marigolds.

Oh and my lemon drop peppers! I pickled some 2 summers ago in leftover diill pickle juice. BANGIN'!

Hopefully it will blow up like it has in the past or better since we added chicken poop to the mix.
