Sweet! We used to have a little A/C like the one with the tube frame and rear engine! I want to say its a model "G"? It had a sickle bar mower on the side and was used by Highway and Park Dept's and golf courses to do mowing. I've never seen another one like it......maybe that was ours? We sold it on our farm sale back in 1986, LOL.

Sweet is right, all painted up and looking new. Driving down the road it looks like a Praying Mantis, you would be surprised there are several in this area.

Great Post.... Thanks for the pictures. Hope the snow didn't put too much of a damper on your festival.

Brings back memories for me. Growing up on the farm, the oldest tractor I remember that we had was a "DO" Case orchard tractor.
We also had an AC cultivator model B with wide front wheels, a John Deer orchard tractor, and the last new one I remember
that we bought was the English Fordson Diesel. I used it to pull a float in our high school homecoming parade.

We had many old tractors. The oldest was a Fordson with steel wheels...don't remember what year. We had numerous old Ford "Major" tractors with the odd-ball shift-on-the-fly transmissions that constantly broke down. My dad used to buy them for next to nothing and tear the transmission apart. He would remachine some parts and change some things, then they were almost bullet proof. The local Ford implement dealers would bring him those for repair. After a couple years, he caught the attention of Ford. They sent a couple of their best regional service managers to talk with him and arranged a series of training classes to be taught by my dad. That was way back in the early '70s.
