now THAT scheme would work with that hood for sure (grey being a neutral tone that goes with the blue naturaly). try it! just don't hurt the sticker bomb (it's too awesome)
My plan is to plastidip over some parts of the bomb that are too hard to taoe and then Just Peel it off the stickers since they're vinyl.

now taking away the whole fad factor, still, i feel it's a detractor from the rest of the car (especially since it's white... Now if the car was green, the red in the rust would be a good contrast to the green: think color wheel here). if the car was a DOD color scheme, then it would also work because of the natural matte colors (rust being a natural red and contrast to OD green and complement to the OD tan).
see where i'm going with this? it just doesn't work with the white. Heck it would look rather good against a royal blue car: the rust being a rather orange color and that is 180* from blue on the wheel, perfect contrast.
It's nothing permanent. I'm Just getting a feel for different looks until I find one I really like. I was thinking of doing a camo blue and gray scheme with plastidip Just to frig around with it.

please fix it, it's a fad and a bad one at that and detracts from the look of the rest of the car. a flat black would have been a better choice.
as it is now, you've signifigantly shortened the life of the hood. they're prone to rot on the leading edge to begin with, why rush the process?
My Hood has No rust on it. That rust is gonna be top coated so it doesn't grow. I don't care whether It's a fad or not. I have another rust free Hood in my storage. And It's white. So I can swap it out whenever I feel like.
Awesome! I've been waiting forever to see some pics of your car! I really dig it!
What are the side skirts off of?
I grabbed them from @mckabe. From what I remember, its escort gt skirts (not sure on the year) and they were shortened and backed with fiberglass to keep them together. The mount up nicely, and I secured them under the car with some self taping screws and wide washers so they'd hold up as opposed to just using doubke sided tape (which didnt last the first time I tried)
