early 1970's CB175 twin. Great bikes, I have a 73 CB175 and a 71 CL175 (scrambler version). Love the vintage Hondas.
Driving for me is neither a right nor a privilege. Driving is my passion, as it was for the people who invented the automobile, the people who paved the first roads and the people who continue to improve the automobile. Please respect this passion.

Karl, when I was in high school, my Dad had a Honda Dream 250. It was black with the chrome tank sides and duck-tail fenders. It didn't run, but was in overall excellent condition. He offered to give it to me, but I had a nice KZ650 and didn't want an "old & slow" Honda........what an idiot I was! I would give my left testicle to be able to cruise around town on that old Dream 250 now!
I know what you mean, I went from a 90 Allstate to the Dream then the scrambler, Ducati, Bridgestone, etc, to when I turned 16 I found an old 1935 Harley 1000 cc 61 cubes rebuilt it, road it for the summer, I figured it would never be worth anything, so I traded it for a chopped 650 Yamaha, man was I wrong, but Dad was glad to see it go, the first time he tried to kick start it, it back fired, threw his foot up against the handle bar and broke his ankle, it was never mentioned that dad had not retarded the ignition enough.
An idea can turn to dust or magic, depending on the talent that rubs against it.

Brian, I do believe we grew up in a great time, lots of cool things to have or use. The Black Dream, chrome tank sides and ya the duck tail fenders, hey did yours have the color matching mud flaps, we had no idea how good we had it. Since the wife doesn't let me use mine anymore, id give both to have some of the cool stuff we had growing up, my gosh think about the cars we had and those we passed on.
