As you can see, the White car, no the other one is a Subaru and the second is a Dap from Holand, Both cars run and drive. The Dap has quite a large fun top.
An idea can turn to dust or magic, depending on the talent that rubs against it.

Correct is "DAF from Holland". D.A.F. was the originator of the CVT (constantly variable tranny) already back in the early 60s. Car was called the Daffodil.
It really is too bad that n. America has an aversion to small cars. How we managed to sneak in Festys for almost a decade amazes me. Highly unlikely it will happen again unless Smart adds a couple of seats and another 500 lbs to their 4 wheeled fashion statement. Europe is dominated by Festy-sized cars, and many of them run on diesel!

The last article I read indicated that 80% of the newer cars in Europe are Diesel Powered. I called the owner of the Dap and he confirmed you are right, it is infact a Daf.
Hmm.....2 excellent candidates for a front mounted 347 Stroker and a tube chassis! Back in the late '70's, a friend of mine had a '63 Renault Dauphine (looked like a 4-door version of that D.A.F.). It had a rear mounted 850cc motor, but he put it on a tube frame and dropped a 428CJ/C6 in the front. It was the proverbial "deathtrap".
