  • just for the heck of it..

painted the roof black.... i had the idea of doin this for a while so i did it.. i need to redo it with a real paint gun which is no problem but i have a nice idea of what it is going to look like now though

I also got a new air filter (a real k&n not that silly ebay thing). I also painted my engine mount (finally!)

it really matches your windows, being as dark as they are, really go together nice

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

Wow. It puts things into perspective for me, replacing stock items on my car (like headlights!.....thanks Ian......can't wait) excites me. I love watching all the work some of you more *intense* guys put into your cars. Inspiring! Nice work, I love the roof.

i've done some tinting in the past and i found out that the rear window is the hardest one on a car to tint, i'm not sure if you've done tinting before but either way good luck if you do try it

i like the roof! lookin good.

the rear window is a pain, you can try w/o doing strips but i did it with strips. doesn't look too bad, just take your time...

can you tell any diff between the cheapo ebay filter and the K&N one?

not really. im thinkin only 2-3 hp gain over the BLUE filter to the k&n but i feel safer with the k&n. The blue one is just a fake and for all i know it paper that will pull apart into my turbo if it gets wet or some thing.

i should be racing this sunday and i what i did was the filter was measured to size to fit perfectly behind the head light and take up most the spacer of the head light when the head light is removed! so this sunday the head light is coming out and i will see if the nice cold rushing air makes a difference (probably not haha  )

you should shoot the hood black too, but not the whole thing, just between the body lines. kinda like this.
