91L with a new hood mod

These are some more pictures of my 91.

I made the cowl hood out of another hood. I cut the shape I wanted and then added sheet metal to the sides.(sorry no during pictures)







I also found some beauty rings from my local junk yard and then painted my rims black

Nice, I was thinkin about doing something like that to my wheels, but black with a red ring around the outside.

What did you get the beauty rings off of?

the rings are from a festiva in the junkyard and the fender is a modified 5.0 mustang emblem that says .50

I am a fan of the cowl induction hood ,Had 3 vehicles at 1 time with a cowl hood .

I really like that ,it looks great !!
It will make a nice vent to get rid of some of the heat in the summer , not like they run hot or anything :lol:

i could barely get heat in the winter with the scoops i used to have on mine.

I also had 3 vehicles with cowl hoods! I still have 2 . My 93 Cobra and 93 Lightning! I like the one on your Festiva, I thought about doing something like that but I have a FMS hood on mine.

the hood will probably stay black but i might paint it. I will change it out to my stock hood when the cold overcomes me. IF time and money permits the car will be repainted because it has had one side repainted and the other hood, door, right side of the car and the roof are all different shades of yellow.
