This is a great thread, nice car (not a fan of yellow cars but yours works), I ended up reading the whole thing (luckily the pictures weren't blocked here at work). Next time you do a fender roll you can try the phonebook trick; jack the car up and set multiple phonebooks in a row (easy to find cause no one uses theirs anymore) long ways of course, then slowly let the car down on them (both sides at the same time). Should be able to have a smooth roll and not ruin the paint. Or you can use a baseball bat like the Honda guys use to roll their fenders. Sorry about the belt, hope it didn't ruin anything by breaking. Did you get the B8 and put it in? I believe that is the engine that our race team has in our car but turboed (hauls @$$). Whatever comes out of the Probe.

    Tom

P.S. whenever I get me a Festy we should do a meet somewhere.

Yeah, with the fenders I got impatient and just beat the crap out of them. It needs paint anyhow. Going to get all of the life out of the B3 before doing anything else. There's a white festive for sale in Austin for like 400 bucks.

Guess I spoke too soon. Motor is dead, was cruising no problems, click click Clicky, smoke no power, done. Pop the hood and it's seeping oil everywhere and smoking all over.

            She's dead jim

Maybe I can have a friend of mine go look at that Festiva since it's a 3.5 hr drive for me and he lives in Sam Marcos.

                              • Just leave it for a month and youll get over it and start working on it again.
You were going to swap the motor anyway so why are you wanting to give up?
