It's probably an FE3 motor. I've seen a few miata's done up with this motor. Visually similar to the BP. They use the truck trans or an rx7 and the rear from an rx7.

Funny you should post this. I was driving home tonight and saw a miata with a cage, top down and driving in the rain. I thought after the gtx I need to do a turbo FE3 miata and make it as powerful as I can. Not this winter maybe next.

This on sold a while ago, I think it went in the $5000 range:

      BP Festiva http://www.cardomain.com/ride/723319 - SOLD
      BPT Festiva www.cardomain.com/ride/2260009 - SOLD
      BPT GTX www.cardomain.com/ride/2436495 - SOLD
      New GTX - http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3294846/ - SOLD

Every car I have owned has had a turbo in it, until I bought this latest festiva.. I plan to fix that though.

here a link with a video of the dyno run.. A miata guy with an FE3 swap corrected me.. He says for sure it's a stroked BP..

                 i want that
makes me wonder how much it took to built that engine

                1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
                1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

Weird... a guy I know (Jake) bought that car. I've seen it in person, it's about 20 minutes from my house. What a small world... haha.

If I were to ever get a Miata, I'd be stuffing a 13B of some sort in it (Renesis would be nice). I've gone to the rotary dark side and now there's no turning back...
