I remembered to take my camera and to use it!!! Here are a few of the photos I took. I know there were a few cameras out so there should be more photos coming from other attendees. Those attendees were myself, littlehoe (aka Brad) 1990 BP/G-series transmission; farzel (aka Gary): 1993 LX original owner and daily driven: the Dawgstrip team (Kevin and Damien) in the Hamster: and Ryan (not sure if he's on the forum or not), 1993 GL Sport that has seen a lot of wear, tear and misfortune.

On the way up to the venue.

    Waiting for arrivals

    Mine, Gary's and Ryan's

    Ryan's, Gary's, mine

    Gary's 1993 LX.

    Another shot of Gary's LX

The "Hamster". Shortened 22", roof removed, no doors, not even a canvas roof!

    Another shot of the "Hamster"

All five at the Wedge Pond Day Use Area in Alberta's beautiful Kananaskis Country

    Lunch time!!

Arrival at the Boulton Creek Trading Post for ice cream

After ice cream we continued on to Upper Kananaskis Lake this is us just arrived in the parking lot.

Enjoying a lakeside stroll. The lakes in Southern Alberta are very low. That's Ryan in the red shirt and black shorts. He's standing where the water line usually is at this time of year.

    On the way home.

Spotted this young grizzly bear on the way out, not far from where we stopped for ice cream earlier in the day!!

I consider Westiva 2015 a great success! Thanks to Rockauto.com for the gift card which was awarded to Brad for having travelled the furthest. Also thank you to a local car wash that provided gift cards for Calgary attendees. And I can't forget to thank Sharon, my wife, for bringing out a picnic lunch for us all! We had great weather, saw a couple of regulars and made some new friends as well. Looking forward to next year's edition which will be July 16th.

Thanks for posting Ian! Looks like you all had a great time.

      I miss going to meets

      1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
      1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?
