  • "Almost Brand New 1989 Festiva L" + Upgrades

I brought it about 3 month ago and I forget to post here the picture to show how neatness and almost like new!

1989 EFI Festiva L-Plus it came with real original 3 Speed Auto and Air
    condition.

Miles on this Red Festiva was only 45,711 !
It have never been in car accident and he never allowed bring food or drinks in car.

The second owner guy sold to me unknown what wrong with engine and he guess it was cracked head block but it was only one piece valve got cracked.

^^ Unbelievable, this one little one piece valve got cracked apart! It even still have good valve margin thickness.

^^ It very lucky there no foreign metal ruin inside engine and I guess it blows away little metal object into exhaust pipe in right time!

^^ Replaced with this new one from other white Festiva.

^^ Sea foaming! making all my neighbor get pissed! But also great cleaning out inside engine!

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Have anyone got very low miles and super neat like that one???

^^ Look at rear stock bumper... It even still looks like new and not fade from damaged sun's UV

^^ This is 12' RIM not really original for 1989 L-Plus but it look nice anyways!

^^ All plastic inside looks like still new and no crack or damaged from by sun's UV!

^^ Clean inside and It's 3 Speed Auto...

^^ Old tail lights still looks clean!

    ^^ Very nice!

    ^^ Almost rust free!

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    New options upgrades...

    ^^ Wheel tilt adjustable.

    ^^ Fog light switch intalled!

^^ UK 110MPH speedometer and tach installed!

    --- More pictures come soon!---

nice find. ya got any plans for modding it, or just keeping it nice and clean stock? I had the same thing happen to one of my valves. The engine kept running for 3000 miles before I rebuilt it.
    No festiva for me ATM...

Light green Festiva looks very good as stock and It was L or LX model?

I am plan to leave as stock my red Festiva for now in garage and someday my wife might want to drive

hey guys, I wondering the B3 engine valves tend to break/crack easy?

Nice car! I love options myself! Just so you know Kia Pride corner lights DO NOT fit a Festiva. You must get clear corner lights for a Festiva.

Ahh, yes it will fit well and only use older gen KIA Pride from Philippine (I think before 1994?) In fact I did installed it and it fit very good.

B6 VAF? what's special about that DJ? and I know it's not B6 engine.

Here picture you can see my old 1988 Ford Festiva LX with KIA Pride parts before wreck in accident.

Edit: But! someday I will go back to Philippine to collect some KIA Pride parts!

OK because the corner lights I have are from a 98 and don't fit!

                              Like that? http://www.ebay.ph/viItem?ItemId=330091165342

I think KIA Pride 1995 or newer have different design with corner lights/headlights than older KIA Pride 1994 or less.

                              -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

These KIA Pride (1994 or less the year) are very easy to install on US Festiva

I might get pile parts if you guys would like buy it from Philippine and be aware some parts can be expensive a bit.

                              -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Any one have seen power switches window on console box? (not on cluster)
