    Great work, Festiva GTX!!

I have to go get those hatch and fuel tank door levers from a Tracer at the 'yard! Maybe I can hook them up, too.

I was doing that but could not figure out how to pop the hatch. The release mechanisums are similar but reversed from the escort parts car to the festiva.

      This pin here
is on the hatchside on the escort & the car side on the festiva. So either I had to run the cable all the way through the body & hatch or figure something else out.

I wasn't meaning "POP" as in door popper. The pic that I last posted was the carside on the festiva. The hatchside on the escort is like that., while the car side has the catch thingy. I was wonderin how you routed the cables. Do a write up please.

I got all these parts from pre gen 323 Mazda and the hatch unlocking it required some custom work... the fuel door opener much more easy.

I am sure you could get these same one from 95's or older I guess.

In few week later I will planned to swap the engine (I won't tell you what kind engine would be! but don't worry I will show you the picture someday later! :laughing8: ) on my Red festiva and maybe swap with 5 speed manual transaxle. The gasoline price getting higher again... :cussing:
