  • The Illegitimate Aspire

A few months ago I purchased a green Ford Aspire (5-spd) for $700 on CL.

Since then I painted it white (with a paint brush, of course) & did somethings on the car to make it look different (such as bastard-izing the grill). I also installed smaller front tires (165/65-13 front; 175/70-13 in rear) & lowered it quite a bit.

The first thing that people notice is the big skull on the hood (& the painted rear windows). However, when you walk up to the car, it's splatter-painted with a bunch of neon colors.

I also installed fake grass carpet since the old carpet was smelly & real greasy.

The car really is a piece of crap, but it looks cool (in it's own quirky way). I just like driving things that are unique; my other vehicle is a street-legal dirt-bike shown below.....screw being "conventional". Life is made to have fun.

    Anyhow, here are the pics:

    That's pretty sweet.
Driving for me is neither a right nor a privilege. Driving is my passion, as it was for the people who invented the automobile, the people who paved the first roads and the people who continue to improve the automobile. Please respect this passion.

I ended up taking the white paint off the rear windows. I think it looks better this way.
