This last group of pic's is of my Son and Grandson, they race in the Junior Dragster 7.90 class. 20 years ago when we started racing in this class you actually used a 5 horse brigs engine with a rope pull starter and ran 13/14 seconds in the 1/8th mile, now the engine starts life as a billet block of Aluminum, Machined to 3.5 "bore, Titanium con rod, Titanium valves etc, heck the carb on this engine is 44mm, I use 40mm on our Harleys. if my camera had not gone dead (ya it was my fault)I could have shown you that these things will burn the tires for maybe 20' and wrinkle the slicks on launch.
