I just got back...something embarassing happened...I ran out of gas!!
Right at 71 southbound to I-270 westbound ramp. I called my Dad and he came with a couple gallons. Started right up.
My new tach cluster's gas guage must not be too accurate.
I figure about 31.5 mpg, but there may have been a gallon or two left in the tank that wasn't picked up. I really should be doing about 35 mpg minimum! Especially at moderate highway speeds. I hardly went over 65 mph.
The meet was a big success.
Who's gonna start the "Diss DJ" thread(s)!?
We postponed the meet just for him. Nice cold day, but I got a nice new XXL Summit Racing hooded sweatshirt.
Karl'93GL "Prettystiva" ticking B3 and 5 speed, backup DD; full swaps in spring!
'91L "AquaMutt" my '91L; B6 swap/5 speed & Aspire brakes, DD/work car
'92L "Twinstiva" 5sp, salvage titled, waiting for repairs...
'93GL "Luxstiva," '94 B6 engine & ATX; needs overhauled
'89L "Muttstiva," now a storage bin, future trailer project

I am getting right on 38 mpg in my stock 91 L 5 speed. Should be better than that, eh? Maybe the shiny new rust-free hood will help! (thanks, Brian :-) )

Karl
1. I had to work..
2. Techno's still sitting w/ dead B6.
3. Zippy isn't legal yet..
4. Need new tires on Casper. I've pretty much roasted the front tires and even with them rotated that car gets real squirrly on wet pavement..
That's all I could think of at the moment..
Looks like you guys had a good meet..
ok go ahead...

16 Festivas and 2 aspires, so what does that equal 9 1/2 parking spaces? I am WAY jealous we don't have anything like this within 7 hours of me!
