There are a few build threads here you could look at photos of, but there is no step by step manual of how to do it

Basically you have to reconstruct the entire rear of the car to do it. And after you're done, you have a car that handles worst than what you started with. Stuff it in the front.
        Current cars:

1993 Ford Festiva 5-Speed - Festiclese III - Cousin of the Banhammer - "The Jalopnik Car"
        1984 Toyota Cressida - 2JZGE Swap, Turbocharged.
2013 Mazda Mazda2 - Exhaust and Wheels (the daily)
        2002 Toyota Tundra - V6/Auto/2WD - The Tow Vehicle.

If the klze will fit in the front that k8 should fit too.
I say keep it up front as well.

this car is enough strong but why you want to customize it. in my opinion try to take care, love and increase your attitude status around the society from it

Some of us love to customize them, some of us love to optimize them for a specific task, some of us love them as Mazda designed them.
The common denominator is we all love them!
I agree the rear engine Festiva will not be able to handle as well, but perhaps that is not his goal.
It is a difficult project, and probably not for the novice, but the crafting is half the fun!
              No car too fast !

There is a rear wheel drive Hyabusa powered festiva on YouTube, maybe find that and message the fella that did it?
Heres the link if it works..
