old project, and a new mod

I was down stairs this morning working on a grill mod for my festy(something to do i get bored)and i found my old fiberglass work. It was modded for a 7 inch screen i had, the screen ended up breaking the day before i got to finish this project.



Thats right I have a whole dash in my basement lol. aspire geek!!!
Well this is the new project, a simple mod. I took out the middle bar and bondo-glassed the gaps, a little sanding and primer its now in paint. Just need mesh.

wow that's very nice work! you have some talent, I always think of cool ideas like this but unfortunately don't have the patience or skills involved in making such a clean product.

yeah, agreed. you have some good talen, i did the same mod to my grille, as did many other people on this board but mine isnt as clean as yours, not by a long shot. i just hacked off the middle. 5 minute job, lol.
