nice looking car. how high do you sit in the yaris. i like the festiva, as the seating seems higher than some cars and i can see over the short hood pretty well. quite an advantage for dodging the critters on the rural roads at night.

It's almost the same, up rather high and the engine bay is very short, you can see the road almost right in front of you. It's quite zippy too!

Thanks James! I'm also pretty involved in the Subaru community NASIOC. through my Subaru ties I do some R&D with an Australian suspension company called Whiteline. They actually have a rear swaybar for the Festiva. Doesn't really do much for roll control but turn in is sharper.

glad to see a pic of that one david, i was gonna ask you about it. i like those old studebakers. my grandma had an mint old hawk, wish id have gotten it. i thought the avanti was one of the best looking cars ever.

truck, how does the yaris ride, better than a festiva :lol: . the yaris hasnt gotten that good of press actually. i was surprised. they faulted the finish as to plastic looking. but from the inside pics it looked nice. just that funky center speedo. probably be my choice if i was to ever by a new car.

We have been pleasantly surprised!! my wife likes white.... and the interior is simple and tough. It gets alot of looks while driving around b/c of the stubby nose i think. I'll try to get some pics of inside.
