  • I Just bought a blue '93

Just bought a '93 Festy in Southern California, drove it back 300 miles to my home in Sacramento. It flew through the grapevine with no problems.

Yep I am looking to buy a couple more of them. No mods planned. Not an ounce of rust on this car as it has spent its whole life in Southern California. Came with clean title, two-inch thick of car maintenance records & the Ford Festiva owner's manual. Engine is so clean you could eat off of it. Having the 5-speed back in my hand after 4 years is like getting use of my right hand back! (I used to own a 4-speed for 9 yrs then unfortunately got rid of it in 2002).

Cool. How many miles on it? Looks great. Almost clear corner lights... from the sun most likely!

105k miles. That one corner light is clear, yet the other one (out of view of in the pic) is orange & has a crack. I'll replace both of them. Also, the ceiling reading lamp (dome light) was gone (the housing), will replace. Paint has some splotches (hood & roof) from the harsh Calif sun, some minor dings as well. Looks like some exhaust work was done new & shiny piping (possible resonator bypass). Underbelly of car is clean and dirt/rustfree.

Looks really nice. Someone here can fix you up with the deluxe dome light with map lights and some corner lights Try not to become obsessed with the car like some people around here.  At least add a passenger side mirror for your first mod. It looks like you found a good one :!:

Nice car. You guys and your 100% rust free southern cars suck.

My car was sitting in ct on a beach exposed to weather year round and even worse, salt water, no rust yet though so I prolly picked it up just in time.
