  • looks like im gonna have to settle for this

its in brutal shape, it was some little punk's first car

not too much rust for a 17y/o car. there were however two holes rotten thru in-front of both rear wheel wells. aswell as some on the hatch and the hood

the rear hatch wouldnt open, and notice the mismatched tail lights... the smooth one was cracked too

it did have some major dents... there was also another big one in the same spot on the otherside

and to make things even worse, the interior is completley destroyed
there wasnt a single trim piece that wasnt cut up or had something carved into it. the seats were also torn up.

it had even been broken into! the drivers door was missing the door panel on the inside too

    ]

it looks like the valve cover had been leaking for the last 20,000kms because the engine is just caked with oil

and you can tell that the cluster has been switched so who knows how many kms are on it

the good stuff? well it had a new clutch, clutch cable, rear suspension, tires, and some other stuff

and it dosent even run.. but oh well, ill probabally end up buying it if i can talk him down to 200. ive been looking too long, im getting annoyed.

ill need preety much a whole new interior, shifter bushings, valve cover gasket, tons of body work and the list goes one... it will be a fixerupper

daily driver... maybe a B6 this summer

the thing is, im the kinda person that keeps my cars super clean... having a car like this would hurt.. i would want to replace just about all the interior pieces and do all the body work. the only thing is festivas arent that common up here so finding clean interior parts might be hard

edit: its a 1990, just notice that the switches dont match the cluster

The spoiler's weren't a Canadian option, they came on Festiva "Sport" models. And this is not a Sport, they were made in 92.

i would not give them more than a hundred, unless the transmission or the block is in very good shape. Basicly a parts car or engineswap, i wouldn't keep the body or the interior. If the engine's good i'd take it. Considering i found a walnut in my car when i popped the hood to look at it.

Im' with Bowls, I wouldn't give $200 for that....I've paid $190 for a festiva that had been sitting in a field for 2 years that still looked better than that. AND IT RAN!, Not to mention, my current Aspire (that is running for COTM on Fordaspire.com) only set me back $200, and it's a running ride! (of course the people had been running 50 weight oil for 3 years prior to when I got it. POOR CAR!)

the cluster is orange and the wiper switch is white, so i'm sure that's why he was saying it was changed

besides the speedo only goes to 140kph which i'm pretty sure is around 85 mph, it's the same as what i got except mine's white
