  • my new silver/black door handles

Saw these on a tracer at the yard and I just had to have them since they matched my black speakers with silver center cones. Plus I just got a new camera phone capable of 1280x960 resolution (these pics are actually scaled down to 1/4 size) so I had to take a picture of something

Here's a picture of my stock tach cluster using the negative effect on the camera

I found the ones in the protege fit, but they are a bit longer and skinnier than the stock ones. The tracer ones were identical in size, they even had the same part # molded on the back of that. I may be taking some more parts from that tracer, it had about as many options as brian's car

^^^ their mine  I'm trying to catch up with you, remember?... it has a center console that should fit a festy similar to the auto console with shelves... it has maplights on the part where the rear view mirrors attatch to the roof... it has mirrors and lights on the back of the visors... cruise control... power mirrors... dual power seats up front... dash clock... power door locks... rear wiper... rear defog... fog lights... this thing came from the factory tricked out, and it looks like the owner may have added some more stuff (I don't think the fogs are factory, but they have a factory switch in the dash and the install looks pretty good)... basically the only option that would have been available in 89 that this car doesn't have is power windows for some reason... go figure...

^Look under the passenger seat, they had trays too! I am not sure but maybe they could be adapted to the Festiva.

^^^ already tried and sadly no, they won't adapt without being cut and having a section removed... more work than I want to put into a piece of plastic

Next free day I get Im rigging up a custom under the seat storage tray. Ive already got the parts car seat in the shop and a set of drawer slides ready to try. If its possible it can be done. Id like one that springs out but locks back in place easily. I like the chrome handles BTW !

I once found a plastic stock tray under an older Tracer seat (the one I got my steering wheel and dash clock from). It was a different width, or else I would have snagged it. I do have one Festy seat from a '90LX that has the tray slides.

                        Some day...

^ Could you post a pic of the 90lx seat showing the tray slides? And do you or anyone know the dimensions of the tray?

I went to a 'yard today (no tools--just scouting) and got my good pants dirty pulling out a 323 underseat tray.

I bought it for one dollar and will see how it compares with my '90LX seat brackets. I may try to use these brackets if they fit the tray sides, and just mount them under my '93GL's current seat at the correct width.

I'm not set up for pics right now, but I can give you the dimensions if I remember to take them tonight!
