I was a little disapointed that no one from Missouri made it to the meet,We,ll be expecting you at the Illinois meet when we get it together.

I had make my excuses. If I hadn't had to work Id been there. Id much rather have been at the meet. I worked 11PM to 11 AM both FRI/SAT & SAT/SUN. Have to be back at 7:00am in the morning for 12 more. Two day of "C" shift and two days of "A" shift. Sorry guys, I feel ashamed, even though I couldn't help it. I have zero seniority at work. Guess it blows the chance of another Missouri meet.

How sad for a Missouri (Ozark) meet .

WE had a great time , Will and my wife and I checked in Friday night at the BarnAgain Bed and Breakfast in Nixa I believe .

Sat morning we had breakfast there , and then we went to the Bass Pro Shop in Springfield ,MO.

Then we all went to Lamberts and had a GREAT time , we all ate well and all enjoyed the THROWED rolls , and I only ate 2 - 16oz. Ribeyes and I think Kemp did also , I was full as a tick

Then we went back to the BnB and refreshed a bit , then we all went to the Branson strip , and we went to the Titanic , it was Awesome .

Then we went to the 76 mall and did a little shopping and goofed off a little :lol:

Then on the way back we stopped at the Sonic and pick up a little snack on the way back to the BnB .

Sunday we went to the main house for breakfast , it is always served at 9 am. WOW it was great !!

Got to hear some really good stories about the place we stayed , and the owner played some music for us , and Dan (Levitan) joined in , It was GREAT !! Dan can actually play really well .I wanted to hear him play more !!

We went back and packed our things and talked for a while , the went and topped off our tanks , then was East bound and down .

Will and us stopped at Sullivan,Mo. for some KFC
Then it was back at it .
WOW , I am glad to be home ..It was a great time .

I have more than 100 pics and some videos , I have loaded them , but I will post them tomorrow .

I lost count of how many Festivas we seen while we were down there , and several coming home . seen a really cool black one going South on 55 in Illinois .

The only ones we saw all day were at the meet. Lots of Aspires though.

OK. Here's my excuse, I took the car in to be inspected and aligned, the first place I went told me I had two bad tie rods, and It would cost me $300 to fix before they would aligned and inspect it. Cussed at them for trying to rip me off and went else were. The second place was PACKED and took 2 hours to find out they could not do 12 in rims. The third place SAID they could do 12in rims but wene I got in the door they could not. Finally on Sunday I went to sears and they said they could do 12in rims but it would be along wait. So I waited. The guy starts on my car and then says they CANT
do 12 in rims. I ask the guy why he said he could if he could not, he told me to sit tight he MAKE it work. And he did. Hes gonna get a good letter from me an his hard work. Now the car runs good and straight, but none of my front lamps work so no inspection yet.
And that is my long winded excuse.
