Wow!!!!!!!!!! My buttocks really hurts!! Can I say buttocks outside of the Arena? Got Laura home tonight at about 9:30 pm Iowa time, Sunday. Darn near 12 hours of driving. Think we went 1600 miles. All I know is the odometer was in the mid 115,000 mile range when we left and right before Des Moines, Levistiva turned over 117,000 miles. No problems with Levistiva, but we did have a few "events". We were run off the road 3 different times! I'd like to say the aero on my SHO Levistiva pulled them into me , but I don't think so. Illinois driver's just decided they wanted in my lane as I passed them. Hit a heckuva storm just before Iowa. Hail and the whole 9 yards. Gonna check for damage in the morning....correction...in the afternoon, after I wake up at the crack of noon!

Had a blast all!! An absolute honor to meet all of you.

Will, Doug. You guys are the best!

Hey Doug, your keys are in your left hand, bro!

And Will, put it in the wind, driver. Put it in the wind!

It was great to finally meet everyone and we look forward to coming up from NC again next year. If we have Barb's green Festiva running we may bring it too. We thank PU241 for his generous hospitality putting us up and feeding us, especially indulging my garlic breadstick craving! It was a please meeting up with Skeeter and convoying up even if he did try to blow us off the road when he wasn't busy playing with the Mustangs. We logged 1332 miles round trip on the odometer, and know it is off because of the 13's, so guessing around 1450 miles actual. Thanks to Karl and everyone who organized the meet. Dean and Barbara
