    ^^Wuss.. 3058 miles total.. no A/C!

On the way back I left Waterford at 11 am in the pouring rain and besides fuel, didn't rest until I got to Louisiana state line at 4:30 am. Took a 2 hour Festiva nap at the first rest stop.. and then drove the last 5 hours home.. Made it just in time for Baton Rouge's morning rush hour.. took 45mins to get through...I haven't tallied the fuel cost yet..

left arm is sorta like leather, but other than that.. I'm used to it driving in the Texas heat.. Been doing it for 25 years..

You guys get a taste of our heat once in a while.. feel lucky.. But I'm glad I don't live in Vegas.. 101 for a low is freakin hot...

honestly I would much rather be in 101 degree dry weather than this humid hell that is Central Maryland. 100% humidity all the time, feels like 100000%, and the temps are usually in teh mid to upper 80's. I can't fuggin stand humidity, i'd rather have straight-up heat.

trust me, Wil. I've been all over the country and the world... hot is hot, dry or not! and if you think this is bad, try Panama...

            (I haven't had a/c for 4 weeks!)

There seems to be a misunderstanding about the heat here.. everyone always says it's a DRY heat... They can't be further from right.. Texas is a big place.. I live in the Houston area.. always 100% humidity off of the Gulf.. not like Dallas where it's Hot and Dry So the east coast feels like it does here during a normal summer... Welcome to my world..

i've been in 100+ degree dry heat and it was much more tolerable than 85-90 degree 100% humid heat.

I guess its a matter of preference, I just can't stand the sticky shitty feeling of humidity

It's been in the 80's for a couple of days here and I'm dying... hehe

Gotta love western washington, in the winter it gets to a chilly 30-40F and in the summer is gets all the way up to 80F.

Yup, been to DFW and was stationed in San Antonio (basic training). High 90's temp and humidity at 8:30 am in the first week of March...
