I just received a call from her and she said that they have a lady who does stories on "going green" and she thought she would be interested in doing the story.
It's not official yet. The other reporter is going to call me to discuss it. But she thought it would be a great story! Especially since most of these cars get 40+ mpg and we're talking about a car that's atleast 20 years old.
She was very amazed about that.... so it's very possible that we'll have a camera crew with us at FM3!!
I'll post another update when I hear from them.
You may want to link them to some pictures of last year's meet.
The Festiva/Aspire convoy could reach 35 or more cars.
I was able to post the Madness Meet info on WRAL-TV's website in their "Out & About" section, but we're limited to 500 characters. I had to be brief. Which, as most of you know, is exceptionally tough for me.

I just emailed her and gave her my phone number... I dropped her some tidbits to peak her interest. So as soon as I hear from her, I will post an update!
I was on NBC-17 a couple of months ago doing a story on paranormal investigations.
^^That'd be Mondo KOOL! The angle is, "we're doing our part to save gas and reduce landfill volume by keeping these hardy little commuter-friendly and fuel efficient vehicles on the road". If they decide they want an "official" contact, either myself or Dean can provide details.
