Right now I'm planning on driving Hot Rod over from B'ham. Frankly I'm a little nervous as he's never been more than 15 or 20 miles with me before. We'll see though.

            Details

Planning on getting the Georgia or Virginia Pavillion for Sunday. Both are next to each other at the Antebellum Plantation.

Coming in from the East Gate off Hwy 78. Go straight acroos two bridges follow road uphill to the left. Big stone sign on left say Antebellum Plantation. Turn left there and pavillions are on left about 100 yards with parking lot across the street on Right.

I plan on getting there about 10:30 to get one of the pav. First come first serve. I'll bring charcoal, couple bottles of drinks, some turkey burgers, pack o hot dogs, buns, chips. If you want to eat, please bring something to helpout or whatever you want to grill. I'll brings tunes also. Let me know what you think. I've got to work tonight and tomorrow night, but feel free to
hit me back wit ideas or suggestions. Look forward to meeting folks and checking out a few other festys. No guarantee mine will be clean by then, but i'm the one who has to live with it. LOL I 'll probably bail around 2 or so as I've got crap to get ready for the week.

Safe trip to all and we'll see you @ the ROCK

Well, I had decided to drive Hot Rod but Big 10 shot that down. I took the car to them yesterday to break the last wheel studs loose and they did a good job. In addition, they knocked the entire front end out of alignment. took it back this morning, and after a pretty good debate, they agreed to align the car at no cost to me. 15 minutes later they drove the car around front and informed me that their new alignment machine cannot align 12 in wheels. So now I have to find someone with an old machine and pay for them to fix a problem someone else created. Needless to say I'm disappointed & ticked that I can't bring him to the meet.

That said it's all good. I will be there Sunday, with pics, and looking forward to meeting everyone. Since I'm coming from out of town I will bring chips, plates, napkins and something for the grill. If I need to bring anything else let me know.

Thank you so much Matt for getting things organized! I will be there and I'm looking forward to a good turnout I will probably be bringing some deserts and drinks and I plan on getting there around 11. Can't wait!!!

p.s. might not be in the festie, might be in the MX6, but it does have some parts that fit festivas and it is a mazda so not completely off topic
                    No festiva for me ATM...

Everybody remember that at 2:00am this evening, clocks spring forward ONE HOUR! I just saw this myself and thought it would be good to remind everyone who is coming to the Meet (and anyone else who forgot!) about the time....wouldn't want to miss anything!

Htchbk, Boatdrinks & Mrs. Sparky, it was good to meet you today. Small gathering but fun. I felt out of place a little without my Hot Rod but maybe next time. We missed the rest of you guys.
